animbar lets you easily create your own animation on paper and transparancy. From a set of input images, two output images are computed that are printed, one on paper and one on transparency. By moving the transparency over the paper, a fascinating animation effect is created. This animation technique has been known for hundreds of years under names such as picket fence animation, barrier grid animation, and others.

Animmerger stitches 2D images together into either a static image or an animation, while attempting to preserve a global frame of reference (static background). That is, for a movie that follows an actor around (and the background scrolls to follow them), it creates a movie that has a fixed background, and the camera moves around in the scene. The most obvious application of animmerger is in automatic map stitching for 2D video games, but there are many general purposes for which the program can be used. Its color quantization and dithering algorithm set is particularly advanced.

libNUI is a hardware accelerated GUI framework that makes it possible to build rich multi-platform applications based on 3D rendered dynamic layouts. Objects are connected with synchronous events and delegates for mono-threaded communication, or asynchronous notifications and message queues are used for multi-threaded applications. It also supports strings (including Unicode), paths, files, data streams, fonts, threads, critical sections, audio buffer rendering, and more.
