「nysol」とは、大規模データの解析に関する様々な大学での研究成果を広く産業界に還元する目的で構築されたソフトウェアツールの総称である。そこには、大規模CSVデータの高速処理ソフト(mcmd)、アイテムセットマイニング(lcm)、組み合せ集合の超高圧縮処>理(zdd)、部分シーケンスに基づいた決定木モデル(bonsai)などが含まれる。

unix環境(Linux, Macなど)で動作し、並列処理の導入によりペタバイト規模の効率的データ処理を目指している。
