XmNap is a Motif napster client. It supports chat, firewalled download and upload, hotlist, and a limited set of privileged user (e.g., moderator/admin) functions.

Knapster is a Linux KDE client of Napster, the MP3 download utility. It supports most of the napster client operations such as searching by songname/band, messaging, chat channels, downloads and uploads, and an mp3 library.

XMMS-Lumi is an XMMS plugin that automatically
plays new files. Users give the plugin a directory
to watch, and if new files are found in it,
xmms-lumi begins to "intelligently" play them. It
is useful for leechers (using P2P clients like
lopster, for example).

Linux Napster Client is one of the oldest Napster
clients available. It is a fully-featured Napster
client with a text-based interface. Linux Napster
Client runs under Linux, OpenBSD, FreeBSD, and
Cygwin32.

WebNap is a PHP Napster client that allows you to download songs from a Napster/Opennap/MyNapster or compatible server using a Web browser.

JNapHunter, a GUI written in Java, retrieves the (Open)Nap server list from a public URL of Napigator Web site so you can view and export them in WinMX file format or in csv file format.

napyrc is a proxy between the Napster protocol and
the IRC protocol, allowing you to control
searching, to upload/download files, and to chat
with Napster users via an ordinary IRC client.

Initially intended as a Napster/OpenNap 'robot,' AutoNap can be used like any other console napster client. It retrievs a list of running servers automatically. Beside the interactive-mode there is also the non-interactive mode which is useful for letting AutoNap run overnight or as a cron-job.

jnap is a pure Java clone of Napster. It includes support for searching, browsing, uploading, downloading, and chatting.
