qmail-installer is a shell script that asks the
user a few configuration questions, and then
downloads, patches, installs, and configures qmail
and its dependencies. Currently, the script
installs daemontools and ucspi-tcp, and
optionally qmailanalog, the SMTP AUTH patch, the
qmail-queue patch, and the virus-scan-zip patch.
The installer offers a number of modes (outbound
only, outbound only with SMTP, normal, and normal
with POP). The qmail installation performed by
this script is compliant with Dan Bernstein's
licensing, and is very close to an LWQ installation.

macwatch is a small daemon that counts in- and
outbytes from a given MAC-address and stores the
result in a file for use with MRTG. It will write
the file every 5 minutes by default, and uses
libpcap to do all the work.

Hogwash is a layer 2 packet scrubber based on the snort signature engine. Hogwash sits in line, and drops packets based on signature matches. The rule set will be familiar to anyone that has used snort before. Hogwash supports passive host identification and adaptive rule sets for added accuracy.

rand takes a file, input stream, or list of "words" and repeats them in a random order to the given output file or stdout.

xP provides an intuitive, high quality, graphical (X11) user interface to the University of Washington's PINE Messaging System. xP aims to provide an interface that is welcoming and easy to use for the new user, while still retaining the look, feel and key commands of PINE for the experienced user.

My cOLLection manager is a text-based database program for your collections. It is a fast and easy to use front end for gdbm or Berkeley DB with a curses interface. Some other databases are supported. The program was originally designed to organize a large music CD collection, but it has no restrictions on the entry of any other large range of items. Its main goal is flexibility.

pfloghtml is a simple and quick log parsing program for Packet Filter log files. pfloghtml can be used for viewing PF logs via Web interface.

VacCon is a Web interface to the vacation program on OpenBSD. After logging in to the Web page, you can edit the email, name, subject, message, and signature fields. When you activate it, the .procmailrc file is edited to add the appropriate recipe to make it all work.

mod_sphinx is an Apache module which intercepts output bound for the
client, whether it be from files served by the same Web server, files
sent via reverse proxying, or files delivered by transparent forward
proxying (outbound proxying, as in your browser's proxy setting). It
opens the text and replaces a word with another word or phrase. When in
regular proxy mode, it cannot modify SSL content since Apache cannot
decrypt that (it would be a protocol violation).

Knapster is a Linux KDE client of Napster, the MP3 download utility. It supports most of the napster client operations such as searching by songname/band, messaging, chat channels, downloads and uploads, and an mp3 library.

phpStyleSheetViewer allows you to preview
CSS style sheets and see a sample of how
every element will appear on your site. This
allows Web front-ends to be built faster and
more efficiently. Style sheets can be entered
into a text box, or uploaded from your local
system, or retrieved from a URL.

dhcpd-wrapper is a set of shell scripts to make
lengthy dhcpd.conf files more manageable and
portable. It also allows the use of a backup dhcpd
server without using ISC's failover code. The
wrapper allows the dhcpd.conf file to be broken up
into a logical set of configuration files by
shared network and group. It can also work with
very simple configurations.

cvsroot is a script to help keep track of multiple
sites when using CVS, and in particular the
CVSROOT and CVS_RSH environment variables for
those sites. It creates a $HOME/.cvsroot file,
with shortcut names representing the different
CVS sites. The new environment variables
appropriate to the site selected will then be
set, and a new shell will be spawned to keep the
variables. In this way, you do not have to keep
setting the environment yourself, and can rely on
the script to keep track of things for you.

Prelude PFlogger is an OpenBSD PF sensor for
Prelude-IDS, a distributed, hybrid IDS. Prelude
PFlogger simply listens on the pflog0 virtual
network interface (which is where PF redirects
logged packets), and it sends alerts to the
Prelude Manager. Prelude PFlogger does not need
pflogd in order to work, and both Prelude PFlogger
and pflogd can run on the same host.
