The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to develop an all-in-one Internet application suite. It contains an Internet browser, email and newsgroup client with an included Web feed reader, HTML editor, IRC chat, and Web development tools, and is sure to appeal to advanced users, Web developers, and corporate users. It uses much of the Mozilla source code powering such successful siblings as Firefox, Thunderbird, Camino, Sunbird, and Miro.

Firefox (formerly known as Phoenix and Firebird) is a cross-platform, powerful, usable, and standards-compliant Web browser, based on the Mozilla framework. It is written using the XUL user interface language and was designed to be cross-platform.

Dillo Web browser is a very fast, extremely small Web browser that's written in C and C++. The source is around 600 KB, and the static binary is about 980KB. It is a graphical browser built upon FLTK-1.3, and it renders a good subset of HTML and CSS, excluding frames, JavaScript, and JVM support.

GNU Wget is a utility for noninteractive download of files from the Web. It supports HTTP and FTP protocols, as well as retrieval through HTTP proxies. It can follow HTML links, download many pages, and convert the links for local viewing. It can also mirror FTP hierarchies or only those files that have changed. Wget has been designed for robustness over slow network connections; if a download fails due to a network problem, it will keep retrying until the whole file has been retrieved.

Liferea (Linux Feed Reader) is a fast, easy-to-use, and easy-to-install GTK/GNOME desktop news aggregator for online news feeds and Web logs. It supports the important syndication formats (Atom, RSS, and OPML). Liferea supports offline reading.

Lynx is a fully-featured WWW client for users running cursor-addressable, character-cell display devices (e.g., vt100 terminals, terminal emulators running on PCs or Macs, or any other character-cell display). New presentation styles can be written by the user and new features can be added to the editor using Scheme.

Links is graphics and text mode WWW browser, similar to Lynx. It displays tables, frames, downloads on background, uses HTTP/1.1 keepalive connections, and features Javascript. In graphics mode it displays PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, and XBM pictures, runs external bindings on other types, and features anti-aliased font, smooth image zooming, 48-bit dithering, and gamma and aspect ratio correction.

HTTrack is an easy-to-use offline browser utility. It allows you to download a Web site from the Internet to a local directory, building recursively all directories, getting HTML, images, and other files from the server to your computer. HTTrack arranges the original site's relative link-structure. Simply open a page of the mirrored Web site in your browser, and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted downloads. WebHTTrack is a Web-based GUI for HTTrack.

Galeon is a GNOME Web browser based on Gecko (the Mozilla rendering engine). It is fast, has a light interface, and is fully standards-compliant.

As quick and intuitive to use as a checkbook register, it is based on professional accounting principles to ensure balanced books and accurate reports. It is backed by an active development community and is blossoming into a full-fledged accounting system.
