Zim is a graphical text editor used to maintain a collection of wiki pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting, and images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and can have attachments. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a nonexistent page. All data is stored in plain text files with wiki formatting. Various plugins provide additional functionality, like a task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and support for version control. Zim can be used to keep an archive of notes, take notes during meetings or lectures, organize task lists, draft blog entries and email, or do brainstorming.

LimeSurvey (formerly PHPSurveyor) is a Web application that interacts with MySQL, MSSQL, or Postgres to develop surveys, publish surveys, and collect responses to surveys. Once a survey has been created, data can be inserted into the survey either by a "pretty" public screen which presents each question one at a time, or by a quick and nasty data entry screen. It includes the capacity to generate individualized "tokens", so that invitations can be issued to participants. It also has the capacity to set conditions on whether questions will display (branching), numerous question types, and a basic statistics function.

GLPI (Gestion Libre de Parc Informatique) is an information resource manager with an administration interface. You can use it to build a database with an inventory for your company (computers, software, printers, etc.). It has functions to make the daily life of the administrators easier, including a job/request tracking system with mail notification and methods to build a database with basic information about your network topology. AbiWord is a free word processing program similar to Microsoft Word. It is suitable for a wide variety of word processing tasks. Roundcube Webmail is a browser-based, multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface. It provides the full functionality you expect from an email client, including MIME support, address book, and folder manipulation. High extensibility is granted by the plugin API and the user interface is fully skinnable using XHTML and CSS 2.

Turba is the Horde contact management application. It is a production level address book, and makes heavy use of the Horde framework to provide integration with IMP and other Horde applications. It supports SQL, LDAP, Kolab, and IMSP address books.

Trac is a minimalistic but highly useful issue tracker and software project environment based around an integrated Wiki engine. Features include an interface to Subversion (source revision control), a bug/issue tracking database, and convenient report facilities.
