If you have a pre-determined quota from your operator of how much packet data you can use in a month, it's a pain to first find the Logs application, open the packet data counter, then try and work out how much data you have left from the amount used so far. Data Quota shows two simple bars: one showing how much of the data for this month you have used, and one showing how much of the month has elapsed. This lets you tell at a glance if you've been using data up too quickly or slowly, so you can be more (or less) frugal.

The POP and IMAP troubleshooter serves to diagnose and solve connection problems from client machines to email services. It reads the client configuration files (Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc.), checks the individual settings, and then attempts to create POP, IMAP, and SMTP connections using these settings. The troubleshooter is coded in C++ using the Qt environment. It can be used generically, or can be customized for the demands of a particular email service.

iptux is an IP messenger client for Linux. It
automatically detects other clients in the
intranet, sends messages to other clients, and
sends files to other clients.

Every Locale is an app which changes the locale (language/country/variant) of your Android device. This is useful if your preferred language is not included in your device or if you are an Android developer and need to test localization. It's the same idea as existing apps such as MoreLocale2, Custom Locale, Set Locale and Language, etc., but with those apps, it's not easy to change to a locale which is not on their list.
