Plasmatic is a cross platform multimedia delivery
and playback system. The client application plays
moving picture files and other media. The client
application can talk to a server to fetch
playlists and content.

The Anthill Bug Manager is a tool that aids
code development by keeping track of bugs in
a medium-sized coding environment. It
accomplishes this with a clean, simple, and fast
interface that contains the essential features,
but avoids the complexity associated with
similar tools. It is written in Perl, requires an
SQL database as a backend, and is Web
server independent.

DynChap provides an additional pseudo hardware token
based authentication layer for PoPToP virtual private
networks. The authentication uses the user's mobile phone
to generate a hash that needs to be entered along with the
user's password in a custom connection dialogue. Upon
connecting, the VPN verifies the authenticity of the hash. The
hash is generated from a serial (by default 32 printable
characters) stored in the J2ME based mobile phone and the
current time; the VPN server compares this hash against the
serial and current time, minus or plus a small deviation (by
default 2 minutes). If the username, password, and hash
match, access is granted and the custom dialer is closed, the
connection can now be controlled like an ordinary VPN
connection.

libcdaudio is a portable library that provides wrapper functions to audio CD drives, and a way of accessing the CDDB and CDIndex databases. It is the heart of the cdcd tool, which lets you control a CD player with shell commands.

amavisd-milter is a sendmail milter for amavisd-new that uses the AM.PDP protocol.

KAstrometry is an astrometry program for KDE. It
is written in Python. It aims to be a good tool to
make measurements of objects in space from images
taken by CCD cameras. Such measurements might be
used to find orbits of astroids or record the
brightness of variable stars. One day, it should
be able to record an object's position, detect
stars, and find coordinates using star catalogs.

bib_uploadfile is a PHP class that can be used to
process files uploaded via Web forms. The class
can move the uploaded files to another directory,
eventually with a new file name. If the other
directory does not exist, the class may create it.
If the uploaded files are actually image files,
the class may also resize them to a given new
image size.

GasTracker will allow you to keep track of your
gas mileage and display the results in an easy to
read Web site. None of the data is harvested from
the Web, but is rather entered manually by the
user and for the user. Currently, the program only
supports the English system of miles and gallons.

bookmarksync is a tool used for synchronizing different Web browser bookmark
files. It preserves current bookmark structures. It will either merge new
bookmarks into existing directories, or it will create a new directory for new
bookmarks. It uses tree structures to do the merge. Mozilla and Netscape are
currently fully supported.

bm2html is a Perl script that converts a Netscape bookmark file into one or more html files for publishing on the Web. It also strips the extra information Netscape inserts and converts the definition list to an unordered list.

Perso can handle different types of identity card
numbers (e.g. German/Austrian ID-card and
passport). It can check the numbers for
correctness using the "7-3-1"-checksum algorithm.
Also it can extract information from the numbers
(e.g. birthday) or generate example numbers using
custom values.

Interapplet is a GNOME applet that allows for
interface configuration using the Debian ifupdown
system. It integrates with that system in a way
that allows the user full use of the command line
utilities without the applet losing any state
information.

SLAM aims to develop a tool to measure local
network activity. It works with a client/server
model, and has an MRTG plugin.

WTools is a collection of tools to view Westwood
game graphics. It includes an unpacker, a movie
player, and an image viewer.
