stegnate is a program to hide data in BMPs or WAVs.
stegnate-gtk is the GTK version. Under GTK versions later than 1.2, it may not compile, but it works from a command prompt and doesnt need GTK at all. At the moment, this software can only hide data in 8 or 16 bit BMPs and 8 or 16 bit WAVs.

pykeynote is a Python extension module for
KeyNote. It provides a high-level object-oriented
interface to the KeyNote trust management API. The
distribution package includes a comprehensive test
suite and a sample application.

Multiple Eyepairs Only is a project to define a file format and to provide tools to use cryptography for things like four-eyes principles. The key idea is this: if information should only be accessible to a group of people together, with the additional possibility to have some redundancy in participants, then MEO is for you.

Suhosin is an advanced protection system for PHP installations. It was designed to protect servers and users from known and unknown flaws in PHP applications and the PHP core. Suhosin comes in two independent parts that can be used separately or in combination. The first part is a small patch against the PHP core that implements a few low-level protections against buffer overflows or format string vulnerabilities. The second part is a powerful PHP extension that implements all the other protections. Suhosin is binary compatible with plain PHP installations.

With jFileCrypt, you can encrypt files very
quickly and securely. It encrypts using the JCE
and supports Blowfish, DES, 3DES, AES, and RC4.

saltyfiles is a platform independent encryption tool with a
simple user interface. It uses 'Password Based
Encryption' (PBE) to encrypt and/or decrypt files on the
filesystem. Encrypted files will also be compressed using the
zip format.

Better ASN is a Java ASN.1 API that focuses on
speed and efficiency rather than extended
functionality. This strategy prescribes one-pass
decoding and near 100% encoding efficiency for
typical ASN.1 usage patterns. Although BASN was
developed for use by a Certificate Authority, the
release comes packaged with an ASN.1 to Java
compiler, which can be used to generate Java
implementations of ASN.1 structures. This allows
the API to be used for any Java application that
may require ASN.1 decoding/manipulation/encoding.

stompy the session stomper is a penetration
testing tool that performs an automated analysis
and runs an array of fairly sophisticated tests on
WWW session identifiers (or any other tokens) to
see whether they are reasonably unpredictable or
vulnerable to attacks.

sig2dot.pl can be used to generate a graph of all
of the signature relationships in a GPG/PGP
keyring. It converts the output of "gpg
--list-sigs" to a .dot file, which is a graph
definition that is then rendered by graphviz.

Javeau is a small tool meant to provide an easy
way to create and use encrypted directories, using
strong cryptography and a simple interface. It
works under Java 6. Data stored in these folders
are encrypted and safe (using 256 bit encryption);
they can be accessed only by the user (by
providing the password used to create the folder),
and their integrity is checked to prevent data
tampering. The application sports a convenient
file-manager-like interface, is very fast and
small, and is completely cross-platform: you can
access your encrypted storage everywhere you can
run a Java 6 VM.

Cryptodev-linux is a Linux kernel module implementation of the OpenBSD cryptodev userspace API (/dev/crypto). The Linux crypto API is being used as the backend and thus requires no dependencies other than a stock Linux kernel.

Python OpenSSL Wrappers (POW) is an early
release as it is now. The intention was to quickly
cover the breadth of the OpenSSL library, then the
depth of particular areas. Future releases will focus
on bug fixes, and filling missing gaps in the API. The
digests and ciphers should be adequate for most
purposes as should the SSL wrappers. Although
certificates and CRLs can be generated using this
library, no extension support has been included in
the current release.
