Soma is an HTTP/1.1-compatible Web server written in Java. It is
powerful (capable of handling many thousands of requests
simultaneously), configurable, secure, and intelligent. It can run CGI
programs, and has good support for Unix systems.

Pico server (pserv) is a small-footprint Web
server. It is portable to many Unix and Unix-like
platforms. It has a matched log analyis tool
called p-reporter.

FTP Rider is a collection of Python scripts that build an FTP search engine. Only path/filenames are indexed, not the contents of the files. The indexer recursively follows all directories. It indexes multiple FTP servers concurrently (default is 50), and the information is stored in a MySQL database.

Tammi is a Java component based development
framework and run-time container for applications
supporting Web browsers, mobile terminals and/or
Swing-based user interfaces. Tammi application
components can implement independent business
logic themselves or act as proxies to native
libraries, remote programs, and other kinds of
manageable systems.

firecat is a server-side Javascript Web server. It
is similar to ASP and JSP, but instead of VBScript
and Java, it uses Javascript(NSP) as the main
scripting language. It is written in Java and can
run on any Java virtual machine, but the main
target will be to support free Java runtimes such
as SableVM, JamVM, Kaffe, GCJ/GIJ, and Apache Harmony.

The OGSA-DAI Data Publisher provides a GUI-based
application for installing and configuring an
OGSA-DAI server (see http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/)
and the data resources it exposes.

JTag is a Java ID3 tagger that should run on all
platforms running Java 2. It is designed to load whole
directories into a table. This makes it possible to edit
all the MP3 files inside the specified directory in one
go. It only supports ID3 tags version 1.0.

Open 4GL WebServices is a wizard/procedure and a
framework that makes it easy to publish PROGRESS
procedures as Web services by generating the WSDL
and WS code. It does not require the developer to
learn XML or the framework itself and provides
many choices for deploying the code.

CRET is a code review tool for reviewing and committing patches to a Subversion repository. It hooks into SVN's commit procedure and only performs the commit if the patch file has an "approved" status. When somebody wants to commit a patch file to an SVN repository, the patch file must first be added to CRET. The person committing must the select reviewers and enter an objective and title for the patch. This operation notifies the reviewers through email. A reviewer can add comments to a patch, approve it, or reject it. Comments are sent to the requestor via email. If a patch is approved, the requestor can commit the code. When the code is committed, email is sent to the requestor and reviewers for notification.

Graffito is a framework used to build
content-based applications like CMSs, document
management systems, forums, blogs, etc. It offers
a complete platform for creating, managing, and
publishing content in your portal or in any other
kind of Java application. It integrates content
repositories, workflow, collaboration, and
personalization via existing open source projects
and standards like WEBDAV.

AgileSites is a framework for Oracle WebCenter Sites (formerly Fatwire) designed to be easy to use and productive. It allows agile development practices and makes development with distributed teams (offshore) possible, trackable, and healthy. It is compatible with standard coding practices so Java developers will feel at home. It uses only documented APIs to keep support and compatibility between Fatwire/Sites versions.

Google Sitemap Generator is a tool installed on
your Web server to generate sitemaps
automatically. Unlike many other third-party
sitemap generation tools, Google Sitemap Generator
takes a different approach: it will monitor your
Web server traffic and detect updates to your Web
site automatically.

Souk is a Python framework that implements the
Liberty Alliance specifications. It allows
developers to build full-featured identity
providers, service providers, and proxies. Sample
code for all these servers is included.
