JPPS (Jeb Perl Ping Stats) is a Perl script which extracts statistics from the
output generated by the 'ping' command.

MRTG::Parse is a Perl extension that enables its
users to parse and utilize the logfiles that are
generated by the famous MRTG (Multi Router Traffic
Grapher) tool. It's able to parse the total
incoming and outgoing traffic of the current day,
month, or year. Since version 0.03, it can also
handle individual time periods to calculate the
traffic that was generated between two dates.

Web Log Trends Analyzer provides a work-around
for a "bug" in some popular commercial Log Analyzer
products, which makes them unable to process
multiple log files for overlapping periods of time. If
you like your commercial Log Analyzer, and don't
feel like upgrading just yet, this little Perl script will
do the trick nicely. Simply specify a list of all your
log files, and it will consolidate them into a single
log file, sorted by time. The output log will work
with your commercial Log Analyzer product without
a hitch, allowing you to continue using it to
generate reports.

LMF (Log Monitoring Framework) is a flexible log
monitoring framework that allows the user to match
text from log files using Perl regular expressions
and capturing parentheses. An optional external
command will be executed when a user-specified
number of matches is found within a user-specified
period. In additon to the trigger, the rule can
also have a message associated with it; when the
rule is triggered, that message will be logged to
the LMF log file. Each rule can also have a
duration associated with it; after a rule has been
triggered and the duration has expired, an
optional external command will be run.

Webresolve is used in conjunction with a log analyzer to get hostnames rather than IP addresses in the statistics. It speeds up resolution by running several processes in parallel.

views (hits) for statistical tracking. It features a chart
of daily page views totals displayed with bar graph,
total for last x days, most hits in a day for last x days,
average hits per day for last x days, and projected hits
for today. The main benefits are that it keeps
permanent log of daily hits while using very little
MySQL space.
