MasarLabs NoArp is a Linux kernel module that filters and drops
unwanted ARP requests. It is useful when you need to add an alias to
the loopback interface to use a load balancer.

Leetnux is a Linux distribution specifically designed for Linux users who want maximum configuratibility. Therefore, the installation is quite hard and absolutely nothing is done "automagically" as in modern Linux distributions, but the user has total control over installation and configuration.

kdb is a debugger that is part of the linux kernel and provides a means of examining kernel memory and data structures while the system is operational. Additional commands may be easily added to format and display essential system data structures given an identifier or address of the data structure. The current command set allows complete control of kernel operations including single-stepping a processor, stopping upon execution of a specific instruction, stopping upon access (or modification) of a specific virtual memory location, stopping upon access to a register in the input-output address space, stack tracebacks for the current active task as well as for all other tasks (by process id), instruction disassembly, et. al.

Minirighi is a multi-threading, Open Source operating system written for didactic purposes. It has been written from scratch and it is compatible with POSIX. The main feature of Minirighi is its light kernel, whose source code is easy for a person to read, unlike many other Open Source kernels.

The MultiAdmin security framework kernel module provides a means to have multiple "root" users with unique UIDs. This bypasses collation order problems with NSCD, allows you to have files with unique owners, and allows you to track the quota usage for every "real" user. It also implements a "sub-admin", a partially restricted root user who has full read-only access to most subsystems, but write rights only to a limited subset, for example writing to files or killing processes only of certain users.
