Spartan is a complete Linux system developed for the reality of Educational Informatics Rooms in the brazilian public school system. Currently in its fifth edition, Spartan was created to be a lightweight system. It relies on the Xfce desktop environment and is based on Arch Linux.
Suitable for all grades, it has a complete suite of games and educational programs for students aged 4 to 15 years. It contains only free software and is geared towards interdisciplinary pedagogical work in the classroom.
Developed in 32-bit and 64-bit versions, it comes with integrated multihead support.
