xvidcap is a screen capture application enabling
you to capture videos from your XFree86 desktop
for illustration or documentation purposes. It is
intended to be a standards-based alternative to
tools like Lotus ScreenCam.

This version should be the most tested, polished,
and usable release of xvidcap ever. This version
no longer has an Xt UI. Bugs were fixed.
Documentation was written, and requires yelp to
read it. It is available in English, German,
Italian, and Spanish. On-the-fly frame size
reduction was implemented.
