This release matches the new version of libopendaap and provides support for remote playlists, iTunes hosts with passwords, a tip of the day dialog, and a host of other improvements and bugfixes.
Numerous feature enhancements were made, including a new party shuffle feature that allows users to select and order songs from any host, the ability to add locally stored files to the party shuffle list, and a complete rewrite of several core elements of the player, giving improved stability and scalability. Various GUI enhancements and support for mt-daapd servers was included.
This version of TunesBrowser has been updated to
take adavantage of the new version of libopendaap.
Changes include the removal of hosts from the host
list when they are no longer available, a large
speedup when accessing iTunes shares on slow
computers, and many bugfixes.
This release adds support for iTunes 4.5 via the
use of libopendaap 0.2.0. Support for multiple
hosts on the network was also added, as well as
some minor bugfixes.
