tex2pdf (formerly lyx2pdf) is a script that generates a PDF document from a LaTeX or LyX document using pdf(la)tex and other tools. There is a bash shell and Perl implementation available.

This is the first stable Perl release, with totally rewritten parameter/option handling, removal of any unnecessary shell commands (no more sed problems), much better handling of referenced files, and many other internal changes.
