SDL Sopwith is a port of the classic flying game
Sopwith to modern operating systems and toolkits.
It was originally a port to the LibSDL toolkit,

This release patches a few minor issues to help it compile on a wider range of Linux/BSD platforms. The documentation has been updated and oil tanks should now explode with more intensity.
This release focuses on minor bug fixes, including correcting an issue where firing missiles could cause a crash. The throttle now operates more smoothly and the AI has been slightly improved. Sound is now turned off by default and instructions for exiting the game are displayed on the title screen.
This release cleans up some compiler errors on modern Linux and BSD systems. It also introduces a command line flag, "-g", which allows the player to jump to a higher level of difficulty.
