Drag-and-drop functionality was added. An MP3 can
be dragged from your file manager onto the main
window and PGID3 will open the tags for that file.
PGID3 is also now able to store the Track field,
bringing the ID3v1 support up to Spec 1.1. (The
ID3v2 support was already able to handle this.)
The GUI was rewritten. Lots of internal cleanups
were performed.
Some forced sizes on widgets have been unbound to allow the user's GTK2 theme to fit things as it should, which fixed some clipped text on large font sizes. There are similar changes to the installer. The genre auto-select when typing a genre title into the drop down has been fixed.
This is a total rebuild of PGID3 to use the
PHP-GTK2 module instead of the PHP-GTK module.
This includes required updates to PHP5, the latest
version of GTK2, and the PHP module. A fresh UI
and integration with QueryXMMS were added.
Changes in this version include the addition of an Application Icon and detection for QueryXMMS. The application icon now shows up on your taskbar when minimized/iconified. Detection for QueryXMMS allows the program to hide that button if qxmms is not found. A small bug in the ID3v2 library was fixed.
