The Linux-Mobile-Guide (formerly called the Laptop-HOWTO) is a guide covering laptop, notebook, PDA, and mobile phone related Linux features, such as installation methods (via network interface, without CD/DVD drive, etc.), hardware features (PCMCIA, IrDA, Bluetooth, APM, ACPI, etc.), and configurations for different environments.

Some minor improvements have been made.

monitor/projector section. A link to Zaurus
Development with Damn Small Linux was added to the
cross-compile section. Some additions about
acoustic management for hard disks were added.
References to X.org were added to X11 sections. A
link to laptop-mode-tools was added. Some URLs
were updated. Some minor changes were made.

New chapters were added to the installation section
on how to install from a USB device, via VNC, and via
network interfaces. The bibliography was updated, a
new chapter about in-built SD/MMC and memory stick
readers was added, and links to laptop-mode, the
Gnome Palm Environment, and the
PocketWorkStation Linux distribution for PDAs were
adedd. A new chapter on using universal USB port
replicators was added along with a "Common
Problems During Installation" section on display
problems and missing lines.
