JSONBOT is a remote event-driven framework for building bots that talk JSON to each other over XMPP. This distribution provides bots built on the JSONBOT framework for console, IRC, XMPP for the shell and WWW, and XMPP for the Google App Engine. A plugin infrastructure can be used to write your own functionality.

The ! char is used instead of | in a pipeline. This is to make it easier to use a pipeline on mobile phones. A new command line interface has been created. You can now do "jsb ..", with no need to start up the console app when you have a single command to execute. ? is now used as a query character, so things you teach the bot with !learn can be queried with ?. The auto_register and guestasuser config options are now disabled by default. The core XMPP parsing code has been rewritten. There are many bugfixes.
