The file menu was cleaned up, now only showing relevant options. The file browser now contains an image preview mode. The Refresh and the go-to-parent-folder button were repaired, due to a bug occurring when browsing a folder with a space in its name.
A Tinymce CSS load failure bug was fixed. The file browser is now much more user friendly. CSS file displaying was changed. The old method is still available as the css-legacy extlink. A timeout was added for keyboard shortcuts, fixing excessive Ajax queries that had resulted from the most recent jQuery update.
Universal support is now provided for CMS template creation using tinyMCE. The file editor (text/WYSIWYG) now uses tabs, and remembers tabs even when you crash or close your browser. A live preview iframe was added for native preview. Numerous file conversion methods were added, including for doc(x) to PDF. Archive extraction and creation is now possible on Linux and Windows. There were many other changes.
A Joomla 1.5 password generator was added. FreeBSD software administrator helper tools were added. More options were added to the file and folder explorer.
