BLAG is a single-CD Linux distribution that has a suite of graphics, Internet, audio, video, office, and peer-to-peer file sharing applications. It is based on Fedora Core, Dag, Freshrpms, etc. It is up-to-date with all Fedora errata updates at the time of release, and uses apt/synaptic for easy upgrades and installation of new applications.

This release is based on Fedora Core 1. It adds amule,
epiphany, more kernel modules, new graphics, and more.
There are updates to nearly everything: airsnort, bittorrent,
blackbox, bluefish, gnome, kismet, mplayer, scribus, sodipodi,
streamtuner, synaptic, xine, etc.

This version features Red Hat updates (Linux kernel, XFree86,
Apache), many BLAG package updates, and piles of new
packages. A new desktop, XFce, is now on the CD. This
release also includes more wireless kernel drivers so more
gear works out of the box. Airsnort and airtraf have been
added. Winmodem drivers have been added. There is also
improved usage of software repositories.

The major changes are lots of Red Hat errata fixes
(new kernel, new XFree86, new glibc, etc.). The
updated BLAG packages include alsa, mhash,
blender, sodipodi, transcode, synaptic,
swh-plugins, speex, speedtouch, pfaedit, kino,
freej, dvdauthor, bluefish, gtkpod, vls, and
dvgrab. If you are running 9000, you can get all
of these updates via apt-get or synaptic.
