To clarify about the cannibalism (as I witnessed my yukkuri eat a dead corpse), my idea would involve eating live ones which would do damage to the attacked and fill the hunger of the attacker. Sorry.
You can use the "Clean" option to instantly remove any one yukkuri from the field.

Correcting myself, this doesn't work - you CAN use the garbage chute to instantly remove yukkuris, though.
It's me again, the suggester. To be honest, I'll say this right off the bat, I'm not a huge fan of yukkuri abuse. Now, I'm not going to say anything along the lines of "remove the violence" or anything like that if you're worried. But, anyhow, one thing I think would help this game would be a quick way for the yukkuri to die (surprising coming from me, I know).
Right away, there are a couple ways of yukkuri could die. By other yukkuri (being refreshed to death or beaten to death), by the player (hammer, flicking, dropping, etc), and of course by the environment (Mister mold, starvation, those things). But unless you squish them with the hammer while their young, most of the time you'll need to hit them repeatedly. This could be tiresome to some players, and a rather inconvenient method for when a player has a large amount of yukkuri and wishes to get rid of the bad ones. So, here are some ideas for other ways yukkuri could be killed.
-Introduction of a poison-food that the yukkuri will happily eat. Maybe two versions, one that kills instantly and painlessly and the other that kills slowly and painfully (like spicy food, but with the effect hitting constantly).
-Being eaten by other yukkuri. Basically if food is lacking, yukkuri will eat other yukkuri, generally the smaller and weaker ones first (could also work with the carnivorous yukkuri I suggested early).
-Injection. Basically one-click and the yukkuri is dead. Like the poison there could be two different ones. One that is painless and when clicked the yukkuri will say something like "Yu, going to sleep-sleep now" and a painful one where if clicked the yukkuri will suffer for a moment before dying.
-Traps. Like mouse traps or the roach-house traps. Some could kill instantly (like mouse trap), others wouldn't (the roach-house/glue trap would prevent the yukkuri from moving and it would starve unless helped).
Those are just some of the ideas that bounce around in my head. Though one thing I would like to add is maybe allow yukkuri to die of old age, maybe with the life-span being twenty-four hours (for a saved game). Again, thank you for listening and I'm sorry for posting all these suggestions. I'm aware you're likely busy, and I know I can't contribute much with software, but I want to try to help in some ways.
Good luck!
