I try your VM and it works very well !! (thx) It's a
great improvment for windows mobile based devices.
So, I suggest a possible improvment : to assume the
compatility with java OSGI implementations / java Upnp
implementation.
I remember you that OSGI platform permits to
hotplug jar bundles (a way to remove and to deploy
bundles from a distant point). For example, Eclipse is
based on this type of technology (Equinox platform).
Upnp is a technology which consist in developing
software devices and to share/distribute them on a
local network (assume distant method call and event
notification).
So, i have tried knoplerfish 1.3.5 and 2.0.0 (and also
oscar - felix) which have been (apparently) tested on
an IBM J9 implementation . Unfortunatly, on your VM it
doesn't work because of classpath sharing : the
framework seems to not be able to resolve bundle
dependencies ... :(((
I have not tested Upnp yet.
If you can take a look on this problem, i could be a
strong vector for the diffusion of your VM !
