Hi, Thanks Peter, carbon emacs is now OK, I run updatedb (in order to have the directories updated, I erased teTex outside sw) and restarted the computer and now it finds the path. My problem is with texlive and more specifically with beamer and xcolor. Did you log-off and in again after you've installed Mac TeX? Evaluating this expression from the *scratch* buffer would tell you in the *Messages* buffer where Emacs and AUCTeX are searching for (TeX) executables: (message "%s" (getenv "PATH")) Which is the value returned? Can you invoke in Emacs' *shell* buffer which latex pdflatex What is returned in *shell* buffer? -- Greetings Pete Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped. -- Elbert Hubbard _______________________________________________ macemacsjp-english mailing list macem****@lists***** http://lists.sourceforge.jp/mailman/listinfo/macemacsjp-english ____________________________________________________________________________________ TV dinner still cooling?
