xscanner is an easy-to-use X (Xforms-based) scanner program which includes a previewer. It relies on a commandline-oriented scanprogram, either hpscanpbm for HP SCSI scanners or the SANE scanimage frontend. It also needs the pbmplus or netpbm tools and optionally Xforms to be installed.
