In this version, a new command swaps two memory banks. Users can now read from, and write to the radio during the same session. The main window appears on top when the program first starts. A bug which occurred when a user tries to save a template before opening a template or reading from the radio has been fixed. The serial port will be opened and configured only when required to communicate with the radio.

Memory bank channels may now be edited within tk120. Channels may be changed, deleted, inserted, or swapped with adjacent channels. More comprehensive changes can be made by exporting the channels to a CSV file, then using a text editor or spreadsheet program. When the mode for a memory channel imported from a CSV file is not specified, tk120 will set the mode according to the Auto Band plan.

New controls were added for VFO, Memory, and Dual Watch scan resume selection of busy, pause, and hold. A new duplicate frequency check alerts the user to frequencies which appear in multiple memory channels.

In this version, a new Sort command in the Data menu permits one to sort memory channels by frequency or by label within any bank or within all banks. A Clear command clears all memory channels. This is useful before importing a memory channel CSV file if you want to override the current channels instead of merging the channels in the file with the current channels.

Radio version choices are now USA and Other. The user will be warned of blocked frequencies only if he has chosen the USA model radio. Warnings were added about 1001-1002 and 1009-1010 MHz blocked frequencies for the USA version. tk120 reads the radio version information directly from the radio, saves it in the .tk120rc (or t120.ini) file, and uses it when writing back to the radio, independent of what the user identifies as the version. The Serial Communications fields are now visible at all times.
