Fixes were made for various defects that were due to API changes in GTK+, Xorg, and other libraries.

This release brings support for stereo LADSPA
plugins, a new Dry/Wet control, reverse MIDI
mapping, stereo VU meters, user interface
improvements, and many bugfixes.

This release introduces a JACK back-end, MIDI enhancements, adjustable colors, a sequencer menu, support for Linux POSIX capabilities, and a default MIDI mapping. Bugfixes include a functional ALSA back-end, support for more GCC versions, and security and other minor fixes.

This release introduces an ALSA backend, a MIDI interface, zoomable audio widgets, a pitch calculator, XML set files, GUI cleanups, fullscreen operation, and more. A significant amount of bugs have also been fixed.

This release adds support for GTK+ version 2. The audiofile loading routines
were significantly improved. Configuration data is now stored within an XML
document. Suid-root installation is now supported to enhance performance. A
cleaner user interface is now used. A panel bar and a manpage were added. Many
bugs were fixed, including ones related to endian issues.
