專案描述

RipTcl is a front-end to various programs that rips audio CDs and encodes/transcodes to FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, MP3, WAV, or AAC under Linux. It provides extended meta tagging features, detects and saves files to USB storage players, burns CDs in DAO mode, plays audio, and supports freedb.

Small bugfixes. Improved UUID support for tracks and albums. Internal search for UUIDs. A script "update_uuids_for_tracks.tcl" copies all track UUIDs into the corresponding database files in the media collection tree. Please run this script with the top directory from your RipTcl media collection as the argument.

0.4.3.6

Continuing support for uuid was added. A script was introduced that generates type 4 uuids for all albums and tracks which have been already saved and inserts information into the appropriate database files. This script is intended to improve functionality of RipTcl. From now on, each album and each track will get a unique identifier by the improved riptcl-cddainfo tool. Note that you must update the cddainfo tool as well.

0.4.2

This release introduces UUID support for albums and tracks. The goal is to get unique identifications on a track and album basis for recognition of files. The user can rename and remove files, and the UUID will be saved as a tag into the file (this will be implemented later -- see also the project libtagext0 on Sourceforge). Parsing the freedb database has been fixed. Recognition of classical audio has been improved. A double click on an audio file in the file management window now starts playback of the file. The included libtagext0 tools were updated to work properly with TagLib 1.6.1.
