Report Manager is both a print scheme designer (report) and a high-level printing (reporting) engine. The functionality is similar to some other comercial tools like Crystal Reports.

This release adds a TCP Report Server and thin Report Client, Windows
NT Report server service and a Linux report server, Windows XP
support, images loaded from fields pointing to files, and a few
general enhancements and bugfixes.
This release has enhanced documentation, a translation utility, full Spanish support, predefined printer selection and configurations, bugfixes, image loading from files or string fields containing filenames , and user defined page sizes in Windows (tested and working).
New features include barcode printing, simple
chart printing, multiselect in the designer, an
alignment palette in the designer, full PDF
implementation, alignment for controls,
auto-expansion and auto-contraction of sections,
autosize for bitmaps and (multiline) texts, BDE
TTable access (optimized access to DBF using
indexes), and new ActiveX methods and properties.
Documentation is included, and a few bugfixes were
made.
Support for Delphi 5 and C++ Builder 4 (Kylix and Delphi 6), an enhaced report designer, and PDF export (true escalable and no X server needed in Linux).
