Opticks Extras is a set of official extensions for the Opticks application. The Spectral Processing extension adds multi-spectral and hyper-spectral processing capability to Opticks. The IDL Scripting extension integrates an IDL interpreter directly into the Opticks application. The Python Scripting Extension integrates a Python interpreter directly into the Opticks application.

IDL Scripting Extension 1.4.0

This release was updated to work with Opticks 4.7.0 and fixed a bug that was preventing images larger than 4GB from being used when running in 64-bit mode. There were other smaller bugfixes.

Spectral Processing Extension 1.3.0

This release is the first to work with the Opticks 4.6.X line. An Rx anomaly detection algorithm is now available with initial support for global and local statistics using the covariance method for calculation of Rx values. A new spatial/spectral plotting capability has also been added.

Python Scripting Extension 1.3.0

This release is the first to work with the Opticks 4.6.X line. This version will now load properly and allow options to be changed even if the Python interpreter has not yet been installed on the system.

IDL Scripting Extension 1.3.0

This release is the first to work with the Opticks 4.6.X line. This releases fixes a regression in the previous version and no longer grabs a floating license of IDL during start-up.

Spectral 1.2.0

This release is the first to work with the Opticks 4.5.X line. It also includes a new Spectral Library match tool. This tool allows a user to locate the best match from a spectral library from a user selected pixel or for every pixel in an AOI. It displays the possible matches according to quality of the match and then allows you to find similiar pixels in the rest of the original image.
