KVIrc

A scriptable toolbar, opaque movement of windows, localization engine, some new commands, identifiers and functions, array-like dictionaries, user windows, reconnect-on-disconnect feature, more documentation and a lot of bugfixes.

Popup menu samples now are loaded correctly, documentation updates, links window, recent servers list, channels & nicknames menu, DNS command. See changelog for more details.

Major code rewrites to solve major 0.9.0 bugs.
There are also some new features : a built-in directory browser,
drag & drop, help browser with search function, dockable MDI windows, threaded dns calls and dcc transfers.
Improving the also scripting language (the engine is totally new),
and the popup editor.
Starting from this release KVIrc no longer relies on the KDE libraries.
The only required library is Qt >= 2.0

Fixes for the dcc send segfault and syntax coloring in the script editor, support for menus inside the user toolbar, plugins and some samples (fserve, xmms controller, etc.), and CTCP multimedia (sound), ESC keybinding to minimize the current window, a configure-script update, a less-pedantic user parser, word substitution, speed and memory optimisations, and many other small enchancements.

This version requires at least KDE 1.1 beta. Any snapshot starting from December 1998 should work. Update the file <A HREF="http://www.kvirc.org/kvi_sparser.cpp.gz">http://www.kvirc.org/kvi_sparser.cpp.gz</A> and recompile if you have problems
connecting to a BrasNET server.
