JLine is a command-line editing library that is
similar to BSD editline or GNU readline. It is
written in pure Java and supports command line
editing, command history, and customizable tab
completion.

This version featuers initial Windows support, more
examples, a new ClassNameCompletor, fixes for Unix stty
invocation on some terminals, documentation
improvements, masking methods, and a password
masking demo.
Many bugfixes were made. The release system was
improved. The terminal property is automatically
set by issuing stty on UNIX systems. Additional
tab-completion handlers were added. This has been
tested on Debian Linux and Mac OS 10.2. The
example includes dictionary, filename, and simple
completion.
