I-Metrics CMS

This version introduces a banner manager, a newsletter system, direct content management of the main website, dynamic and automated multilingual support, extensionless SEO URLs, template management, a right/left navigation content controller, a forms control system, zip compression/decompression of plugins, and various fixes over the previous version. The support for multiple languages is one of the main changes in these version. Plugins can be now language-aware for both database and string files.

This release brings in new plugins, a template/layout mechanism, integration of the pkzip compression library, a forms tool, XML import support functions, and a couple of fixes for reported bugs. The release also includes four different templates to select from during installation and when installing plugins.

The major improvement in this version is the addition of the Plugins Manager (PM) to improve Web site customizations, allowing rapid deployment of the framework and evolving this package to be modular and more dynamic. Plugins can be installed, uninstalled, completely removed, and configured using their own database space. They can also be fully automated or operate using a custom flow, interact with other plugins, and use the core functions and database like every other component of this CMS.
