This version delivers packaged installers for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux for the previous five distributions (Expert Java developer (formerly Starter Java), LAMP developer, Server Java developer, Desktop Java developer, and Mobile Java developer) and four new ones (PHP, Ruby and Rails, Python, and Plugin warrior). It has many plugin updates, bugfixes, and Subversion support in most distributions.
This version adds five distributions with support for Java, PHP, Ruby, Perl, and Python and over 60 plugins assembled to work together. The five distributions are Starter Java, Desktop Java, Server Java, Mobile Java, and LAMP. Each distribution and plugin comes with an installer for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. Both Mac OS X x86 and PPC are supported. This version is based on Eclipse 3.1.2.1.
