Ankur is working toward supporting the Bangla (Bengali) language on the
GNU/Linux operating system. Most of the subprojects are focused on
XFree86.org's XServer, and some are platform independent.

This version now has better hardware autodetection, an
extra keyboard layout for Bangla, and support for
configuring network devices. A bug reporting tool was
added, many of the GNOME 2.4 packages were upgraded,
some help files were added, and some minor changes
were made in the default desktop layout.
