The LIRC Client Daemon is a per-user daemon that
sits between the LIRC daemon (from the Linux
InfraRed Control project) and any other programs
that use LIRC. It ships with a replacement library
for LIRC's liblirc_client, which connects to
lirccd instead of lircd. This primarily helps
solve the synchronization present in the standard
liblirc_client, and also empowers the user with a
much more flexible configuration file format.

uREST is a REST-style interface for the HEYU X10 application. It makes it possible to write your own X10 remote control application using a simple Web-based API or with the API directly.

Cerberus-Prox is backend software for an
inexpensive, easy-to-build hardware system that
implements a functional door access control
system. It supports HID clock-and-data prox card
readers. A MySQL database (or theoretically any
JDBC) is used for data storage. RXTX is used for
serial port communication.

X10MMS is a software suite that provides support
for the X10 CM19A USB home automation transceiver
under Linux. It allows users to control the device
directly, sending and receiving basic on/off
commands, and also includes a sample application
that allows XMMS to be remotely controlled using
the CM19A transceiver and an X10 palmpad remote.
The current CM19A driver is implemented as a
kernel module and requires an up-to-date 2.6.x
kernel. The program is completely user
configurable via a straightforward text file, so
you can assign any supported function to any
toggle key on the remote.

digitalSTROM server enables a custom application to control a digitalSTROM installation by using high-level constructs.

QKtemp records temperature data from the Qkits.com
VK011 temperature interface into an RRD database,
allowing you to graph temperature over time
easily. The VK011 is a serial-port powered module
with room for four Dallas Semiconductor DS18S20
temperature sensors.
