PyreRing is a test runner that executes scripts
intended to act as individual test cases. By
removing the administrative burden that often
surrounds testing, the test author can focus on
writing meaningful, direct, and useful test cases.
As long as you wrap your test cases with a Unix
shell or scripted language wrapper, it will be
executed. It allows you to set a timeout value,
send reports to email addresses, automatically
organize your test cases with filesystem
directories or suite files that you define, create
automatic suites based on a predefined block in
your test scripts, and capture standard out and
standard error into a comprehensive log.

debshare.create is a hackish script used for producing .debshare files, which are basically "self-executable", monolithic archives containing several .deb packages. A .debshare file is meant to install one (or more) applications that it contains, complete with all its dependencies. This facilitates easy sharing of applications across computers using a single file, as opposed to multiple .deb packages. This idea was originally meant for Ubuntu systems, but there should be no reason why it shouldn't work on other similar distributions. Technically, a .debshare file is a bash shell script with a binary payload (a tar archive with the .deb-s) appended to it.

uberSVN is an enhanced distribution of Apache Subversion that lets developers choose any combination of software development tools that best fits the business requirements in hand. Toolset choice can be based on price or functionality or the use of open source or closed, proprietary applications. There is no vendor lock-in. The product is available at no cost, but professional support is available for purchase from WANdisco.

rConfig is a network device configuration management utility for network engineers to take frequent configuration snapshots of their network devices. It lets you choose which commands you want to run against your devices. Simply configure rConfig with the list of commands you wish to apply to a category of devices, and add devices to the category. Create a scheduled task, and rConfig will do the rest.

Phuzby will let you search your organisation's
LDAP directory (such as Active Diretory, Novell
eDirectory, or OpenLDAP) for the contact details
of colleagues, customers, or suppliers. Phuzby can
display a photo for each person, and can even read
the telephone number out loud to help you dial it
correctly. In fact, if your phone system supports
TDMF tones, you can hold your handset near you
PC's speaker and phuzby will dial the number for
you.

V.A.P.E.S. (Virtual admin for Postfix email
server) is a Web interface for Postfix
administration. This interface is for configuring
and administration of virtual domains in Postfix
with a PostgreSQL backend. It can configure
domains (add, delete, and modify), virtual email
addresses (add, modify, and delete), and email
forwards (maps).

Genoppix Scripts is a collection of scripts to
create and maintain a Gentoo-based live CD. Many
of the steps are scripted to ease installation,
but there is still room to fully customize your
live CD.

Treadstone Zero is a really small Linux utility distribution that lets a user easily delete and erase hard drive partitions. The utility is meant to allow system administrators to easily wipe systems totally clean. It boots in less than 10 seconds on most systems, consists of a Linux 2.6.32 kernel and a RAM based ext2 file system, and supports most major hard drive controllers such as IDE, SCSI, and SATA. The partitions you wish to erase can be selected after bootup. The ISO can be burned to CD-ROM or a USB drive.

Its main goal is to ensure a stable and secure deploy where patching and system upgrades do not depend on security bugs, but on the task team schedules and the needed features of the system or the software it runs.

The 64 Studio Platform Development Kit (PDK) is a
version control system for GNU/Linux
distributions, allowing the creation and
management of many different projects, based on
Debian and Ubuntu sources. PDK is written in
Python, and the source code is well commented and
contains documented examples.

KNetworkConf is a KDE Control Center module to configure network settings on a Unix machine.
