deal.II is a C++ library supporting the generation of complex adaptive finite element codes. It features locally-refined grids, various scalar and vector-valued finite elements, linear solvers of low and higher order, arbitrary mappings, and support for 1, 2, and 3D computations. It comes with extensive documentation and example programs showing the use of the library for modern finite element programs.

cvsstat helps you get a good overview of the CVS
status of the files in your directories. It can be
used for any type of CVS archive, local or remote.
cvsstat can be slow if you have a slow network
connection.

CVSHistory is a Web-based tool for browsing CVS activity which integrates with ViewCVS or CVSweb. It supports sorting, range selection, and regular expession-based searching. It works with any CGI-capable Web server.

DCVS is a Perl/MySQL CVS server supporting the
pserver protocol. It can import/export RCS files
and has a cvsweb-like interface. It has a
branch-based permissions model with access control
lists, and failed merges produce unidiff patches
(not diff3 output).

CVS History is a Web application for searching the
history of CVS actions. It parses the output of
the CVS history command and imports it into a
MySQL database for ease of manipulation by the PHP
front-end. Its advantage over other CVS history
viewing applications is that it only needs
anonymous CVS access to the repository.

VCFS provides a user-space NFS server that allows
local or remote CVS repositories to be mounted as
a filesystem. It works with existing CVS servers,
including those used by SourceForge.

CVS Web Client uses the original CVS backend. It
is designed to an easy to use and powerful CVS client.

SandWeb is a Web-based Sandbox Management Client. Since we currently only support CVS, it could also be described as a Web-based CVS client. It can be used to check out modules from a VCS such as CVS, manage files, edit, commit, and much more.

CvsShell is a console-based CVS frontend. It
provides convenient access to the CVS commands
through a shell-like user interface.

Cvs-Brancher establishes a tagged branch in a CVS
module and schedules a merge and build to occur
at a later date/time. It might be used to roll
out Website changes at odd hours, such as posting
a press release in time for the start of the
business day on the east coast, or to roll out
cfengine changes to a data center during the
night, to minimize the impact of downtime.

cvsgdiff uses tkdiff or mgdiff to graphically
display diffs between CVS revisions of a file in
your sandbox. It is basically a graphical version
of "cvs diff". If given no arguments, cvsgdiff
will launch the graphical diff program once for
every modified file in the current directory.

Eclipse Version Tree Plugin is an easy-to-use,
graphical version tree for project artifacts
hosted in a CVS repository. It is a graphical
replacement for Eclipse resource history. It
supports different layout styles, customization,
and convenience features.

Aquamacs is a Mac-like version of the powerful
Emacs text editor that runs as a standard OS X
application. It features extensive customization
that enables it to conform better with Apple's
standard Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) than
standard versions of the editor do. It provides a
more Mac-like user experience than Carbon Emacs.

svnpserver is a CVS pserver implementation that
works against an SVN (Subversion) repository. It
can be useful for old build scripts or legacy
application when migrating from CVS to SVN.

cc2cvs exports ClearCase version control
information to the CVS format.
