Real Mah Jongg is a social game that originated in China thousands of years ago. Four players, named after the four winds, take tiles from a wall in turn. The best tiles are made of ivory and wood; they click pleasantly when you knock them together. Computer Solitaire Mah Jongg (xmahjongg being one of the sillier examples) is nothing like that but it's fun, or it must be, since there are like 300 shareware versions available for Windows. This one is for X11 and it's free.
Kye is a puzzle game which takes ideas from Sokoban and the genre of falling-rocks puzzle games. However, it includes a wider range of objects, allowing a larger variety of puzzles to be constructed. It is a clone of the original, shareware, Kye for Windows, and is compatible with the large number of existing extra levels designed for the Windows version of Kye. You can make your own levels, and a level editor is included.

Pengupop is an online multiplayer clone of
Frozen-Bubble/Bust a Move. The purpose of the game
is to shoot colored balls so they form groups and
thus fall down. Any balls that fall down will
reappear on your opponent's playfield as a
side-effect.
JsTetris is Tetris clone game. It only requires a browser to run, and has been tested on IE, Mozilla, and Opera.

Einstein is a remake of the old DOS game Sherlock,
which was inspired by Albert Einstein's puzzle.
Einstein said that only those with an intelligence
quotient of 98 percentile and higher should be
able to solve it.

Macao is a framework based on Javascript and DHTML to build animated
interactive homepages. It is intended to build graphic adventures and
other animated interactive fiction. Macao-based games don't need any
plugin and can be hosted on static Web servers. The framework comes with
a step-by-step tutorial and a complete Java-style API documentation. It
has a Road Editor and other useful tools.
Xye is a puzzle game in which the objective is to get all the gems in each level. The mission is not as easy as it sounds: there are traps, monsters, and very hard puzzles everywhere. The player can interact with objects in the game in a lot of ways, and some of the objects can also interact with other objects.
Gweled is a GNOME version of a popular game (for
PalmOS, Windows, and Java) called "Bejeweled" or
"Diamond Mine". The aim of the game is to make an
alignment of 3 or more gems, either vertically or
horizontally, by swapping adjacent gems. The game
ends when there are no possible moves left.
Enigma is a puzzle game with elements of Boulderdash and elements of Sokoban, but is possibly most similar to the old Spectrum game XOR.
