ttyrec is a tty recorder. Recorded data can be played back with the included ttyplay command. It can record emacs -nw, vi, lynx, or any programs running on tty.

NOTE is a small console program that allows you to
manage notes similar to programs like "knotes"
from the command line. It supports different
database backends for storage, and includes a
DBI-based MySQL module and another module that
uses a binary file for storage and a DBM module.

multi-aterm is a multi-tab terminal emulator based on aterm for the X Window system. It provides tab functionality without requiring KDE or GNOME.

Serial Over IP is a tool for the transport of serial
interfaces over UDP/IP. It is usefull for connecting
distant equipment that run via a serial interfaces to
a local computer. It requires two computers that
are running Linux and are connected via IP.

LDMud is an LP-class MUD engine, meaning it is
object-oriented, with all object clases stored in
unique files. The engine runs compiled bytecode to
manipulate those objects, and the underlying
simulated processor is a stack machine. It is a
3rd-generation LP-class MUD, being derived from
Amylaar, which in turn was derived from the
original LPMud. The game has no limitations on the
nature of the game space other than the limits of
your coding.

mcl is a MUD client running in a Virtual Console
under Linux or using standard TTY routines under
any other UNIX. Embedded Perl or Python offer very
high tweakability. Other features include huge
scrollback, a stable input line with the MUD
prompt, Perl regexps for actions and substitutions.

login_keepalived is a daemon that keeps remote
terminal (SSH) sessions alive, preventing them from
being cut off by TCP timeouts. It can be run as a
global daemon for all remote sessions, or in
private mode for a single session.

iTerm is a terminal emulation program written
using Cocoa. The letter i represents a native
Apple look and feel of the program interface, and
an emphasis on complete international support. It
provides multiple tabs within one window, support
for Applescript, transparent windows and custom
background pictures, Rendezvous support, and
support for all language encodings that are
available with OS X.

Wapsh allows users to login to a Unix workstation using a WAP-capable mobile phone. Features include shortcuts (to save phone typing), input of control and other special characters, command history, and searching and scrolling through long shell output. Wapsh automatically adapts to the main WAP browsers (UP and Nokia), and uses configuration files to further tailor the system for specific phones. A corresponding HTML (Web) interface is also included.

Qodem is a re-implementation of the Qmodem DOS shareware communications package, updated for more modern uses. Major features include Unicode support, scrollback buffer, capture file, screen dump, dialing directory, keyboard macros, script support, Xmodem, Ymodem, Zmodem, and Kermit. It can connect over serial port, telnet, ssh, rlogin, and command line, and supports multiple terminal emulations including ANSI.SYS, Avatar, VT100/102, VT220, and Linux.

Fosfat is a C library for providing read-only
access to a Smaky formatted disk. Currently, only
a tool and a FUSE extension that use this library can be used for reading a directory and copying a file. Smaky is a
system developed in Switzerland at the EPFL (Ecole
Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne).

Snoop is a GNU/Linux file descriptor
monitoring tool inspired by FreeBSD's 'watch'.
It goes beyond simple TTY snooping by
allowing the interception of any file descriptor.
You can attach on the fly to regular files, TTYs,
named pipes, character devices, and pretty
much anything that is represented by a file
descriptor and addressable in the standard
name space.
