I have the German Version of the Sharp Zaurus (SL-
5500G). After installation of libqte-ja I am no longer
able to use the keys which must be composed by
pressing the green Gr-button (like the Fn-button) and
the corresponding letter to receive special characters
which are needed by german language (Umlauts, Sharp-S
and the Euro-Symbol). It then generates an uppercase
version of the key pressed, instead of the special
character. For example Gr+L generates an "L" instead
of the required "Umlaut u".
I have found that SL-5500G is not need libqte-ja to run
IMKit-Anthy.
Try *without* libqte-ja.
libqte(Qt/Embedded) included in ROM 2.38G for SL-5500G has
same functionality as libqte-ja that encode/decode several
Japanese text encodings (EUC-JP, SJIS, etc).
