elf2fltのpatchあて (2003-09-19 17:44 by j_akita #5923)

たびたびお世話になります。
以前公開していただいたelf2fltのパッチ（I/Oレジスタにアクセスできるように）、
uclinux.orgにある最新版CVS repositoryに対するもの、とのことでした。

非常に初歩的な質問でお恥ずかしいのですが、
（しかもuClinux/H8とは関係ないし・・・）
elf2fltのCVS repositoryをcheck outして手元にもってきたあと、このpatchはどのようにあてるものなのでしょうか・・・？
patchコマンドであてるにも、各ファイルのReleaseが異なっていたりしますよね。

非常に基本的なCVSの使い方のレベルだとはおもうのですが、
教えていただけませんでしょうか・・・？

先週、elf2fltにelf2flt.patchを当てようとしましたが、素直にはいきません
でした。ご参考までに報告します。

elf2flt.patchは2003-08-13 08:29に作られているようなので、その時の
elf2fltのCVSにあるコードとのdiffで、現在のコードにそのpatchを当てると
Rejectされた部分がありました。そこで、Rejectされた部分は自分でコードを
読んでmergeしました。
また、先週の段階ではelf2fltのCVSをそのままとってきて、makeしてもmakeで
きない状態でした。Makefile.inにstubs.cが書かれていたのですが、そんな
fileはありませんでした。修正してmakeしました。

stubsの問題は修正されたようです。
Makefileの修正は廃止したので --with-libbfd と --with-libiberty で、ライブラリを直接指定して下さい。

例
./configure --target=h8300-elf --prefix=～ --with-libbfd=～/libbfd.a --with-libiberty=～/libiberty.a \
--with-bfd-include-dir=～ --with-binutils-include-dir=～

これで(忘れないうちに)マージしてもらいます。

岡崎様、早速のコメントありがとうございます。

結局手動でpatchをあてる（rejectされた部分を手動でテキストエディタで編集する）、というのが、現段階では現実的ですね。

そのとおりやってみたら、無事カーネル等のコンパイルも通ったようでした。（binutils-2.12.2 + gcc-3.3(+patch))
