OSDN storage feature is implemented with FUSE(file system in userspace). When the code which we developed using this FUSE is combined with Amazon EFS, it really slows down the upload speed. We added a bit of fix to improve this speed issue, and it has gotten better than it originally was. That said, in order to drastically improve the upload speed, it will require a significant amount of code modifications. We haven’t been able to make a prospect as to by when we can make this improvement happen.
With yesterday's fix, the upload speed is now about 10 times faster than before.
Can Manjaro move back to SourceForge? SourceForge UX is much better and easier to use. Support is better as well.
I know of at least two other tickets mentioning this regression after the switch to AWS.
The regression - upload wise - is at best @500kB/s - this slow connection makes it hard to upload a new ISO as a 1.6G ISO takes around an hour to complete.
What is the time frame for this issue?
