Bug (2004-06-28 20:21 by 匿名 #9993)

Hello,
your PropertyEditor is very usefull. But I have came across a bug: to correctly encode a property files, it is neccessary to encode the charaters with ascii above 127, not only those with hex representation long 4 characters. The problem is in class jp.gr.java_conf.ussiy.app.propedit.util.EncodeChanger in function "public static String Unicode2UnicodeEsc(String uniStr)", correct code is: "if (character<128) {
ret.append(character);
} else {
if (hexStr.length()<4) hexStr="0"+hexStr;
if (hexStr.length()<4) hexStr="0"+hexStr;
ret.append("\\u" + hexStr);
} "
It's neccsesary for correct encoding of East European languages, Russian, Greek etc. Because I work with those, I would really appreciate if you could fix this bug in next release. Thank you.
