This project is for creating a Manjaro-based media box for ARM devices such as development boards like the Raspberry Pi, but also non development board ARM devices. This project is about creating software packages and metapackages unlocking features not always available from distro repo versions. Many times a distro repo version must comply with specific standards that compromise software.
An easy example of this is Kodi from Debian, which is not the same as official Kodi because it must use the same upstream versions of software dependencies used by other apps installed on Debian. Other packages are build dependencies for a package already in the distro repo, but the build dependency itself is not there, etc.
