The Community OpenORB is a fork of OpenORB that tries to make the evolution of the OpenORB CORBA project more transparent and allow the community to take part in making decisions about its future.

This release handles fragment messages correctly, and handles byte order marker problems with wstring. corbaloc works with ',' and '/' again. JSSE 1.0.3_01 is used in the SSL module as it may be distributed. Naming contexts are displayed in the management board correctly.
The memory footprint was reduced. The readability
of the source code was improved. Lots of bugfixes
were made. JDK 1.4 is now supported. Support for
multiple ORBs in a single VM was improved. ORB
configuration and initialization was enhanced.
Support for local calls, better codeset support,
and a lot of other improvements were added.
