SkProd provides a way of building binary data for
applications. SkProd has been historically
developed for publishing tools. However, it can
potentially be used for any application that needs
some data to be compiled. The SkProd language
emphasizes data flows. Instead of using imperative
commands like if/for/while, a SkProd program
describes how to produce data streams, and what
operations (filters) should be applied on those
data streams. Therefore, a typical SkProd program
is not a sequence of functions, but rather is a
tree whose roots are the input data streams, and
whose leaves are the output data streams.
