Schism Tracker is a tracked music editor that aims
to match the look and feel of Impulse Tracker as
closely as possible. The player code is based on
the Modplug library, so it supports a wide variety
of module formats.

Many new features were incorporated from mrsbrisby's CVS versions. The executable file is now named schismtracker, so the old "schism" should be removed after upgrading.
This version adds numerous features, including AIFF sample
support, in-module sample browsing, implementation of several
more keys (such as Ctrl-F7 on the orderlist to queue a specific
order to play next), improved character drawing, and a
completely rewritten directory scanning code for better
portability to other platforms. Additionally, this fixes a number
of bugs, including a segmentation fault when resizing patterns
and a long-standing bug with the event loop that occasionally
prevented the display from updating.
This release adds major speed improvements to the sample waveform
drawing, commandline options, playback dots on the sample and instrument
lists, and a new sample exportation dialog.
This release mostly fixes some more byte-ordering
problems, but introduces a couple of extra features such that
Ctrl-L is now mapped to load song, and preliminary support
has been added for default instrument filter cutoff and
resonance.
