Ritmark FS Engine is a filesystem engine for
MySQL. Using it, you can work with your files
using SQL queries. It provides replication and directory changes tracking.

This release introduces (read-only) support for
structured access to file contents. The FILESYSTEM
engine has changed its format. The old format is
available as LEGACY_FILESYSTEM. There are 3
semantic drivers available in this release: a
common file attribute driver, an MP3 tag driver,
and a JPEG EXIF tag driver.
Error dialogs were added. The local folder is
automatically set based on the default temp
folder. The local folder is automatically created
if it doesn't exist. A bug in which the
application didn't exit after closing the main
window was fixed. A bug in which downloading
didn't work with RitmarkFS versions greater than
0.2.0 was fixed. The online documentation was
updated.
Problems where SQL table aliases did not work and bulk delete or name updates could cause crashes were fixed. Source code refactoring was undertaken and the on-line documentation was updated.
The major improvement in this release is
implementation of replication and directory change
tracking support for Linux. (For Windows, it was
implemented in previous version 0.3.0.) Directory
scanning was improved, and several bugs have been
fixed.
